How It Works
Every image and video you upload is automatically scanned by our AI compliance system. The AI analyses your content against the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines of each major platform — so you know what's safe before you post.
Platform Ratings
Each platform receives one of three ratings:
- Safe — Content is clearly compliant. No concerns.
- Caution — Content is borderline. Could trigger algorithmic suppression or shadow banning. Not a clear violation, but risky.
- Unsafe — Content violates platform guidelines and is likely to be removed or result in penalties.
Checked Platforms
Compliance is checked against: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, and Snapchat.
Understanding Results
For each platform rated caution or unsafe, the compliance report shows:
- Issues Detected — Which guidelines are at risk and why
- How to Post This — Actionable recommendations to make the content safe for that platform
Auto-Check on Upload
Compliance checking runs automatically in the background the moment you upload media. No extra steps needed. Videos may take a little longer to process than images.
Examples of "Caution" Content
- Revealing but not nude clothing (swimwear, crop tops)
- Suggestive poses or themes
- Discussions about adult topics without showing explicit content
- Content that could be age-restricted but not removed
"The compliance checker couldn't read this file"
Occasionally a file comes back with this message instead of the usual per-platform ratings. It means the checker was unable to read the file at all, so there is no result to show you.
This is not a verdict on your content. It does not mean your content broke a rule, and it does not mean the platforms will reject it. It only means we could not get an answer.
When this happens the file is held back rather than marked safe — we would rather tell you we do not know than imply we checked it and it passed. Review it yourself against the guidelines of the platforms you are posting to, and post it as normal if you are happy with it.
This used to be far more common, and used to show as red on every platform with no explanation. The checker has since been upgraded and now handles the large majority of this content properly. If you see this on something you think is clearly fine, report it from the Report an issue link in your sidebar and we will look at it.
